12 people unwell after suspicious package

A suspicious package containing an unknown powder has been found at a DHL distribution centre in Langenzenn, Bavaria, Germany. At least twelve people experienced health complaints.

Seven people had to be taken to hospital. The powder caused irritation among staff who came into contact with it. The building was evacuated and the fire brigade set up a decontamination shower for 35 people. According to the authorities, there is no danger to the surrounding area.

In recent months, there have been several incidents involving powder-filled letters at DHL.
