According to Ukraine, Putin nears the million threshold

The Ukrainian armed forces reported on Tuesday that the number of combat losses suffered by the Russian army since the start of the invasion has risen to over 950,000.
This is the toll of the war initiated in February 2022 by order of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, with Moscow having not provided official figures for months.

The general staff of the Ukrainian army stated in a communiqué published on their Facebook account that the Russian armed forces have suffered "approximately 950,860" casualties, including 1,060 killed and wounded in the last day.

In this regard, the Ukrainians highlighted that the Russian troops have lost 10,728 tanks, 22,352 armoured vehicles, 27,080 artillery systems, 370 aeroplanes, 335 helicopters, 34,177 drones, 28 ships, and a submarine, among other military equipment, amidst the hostilities.
