AI predicts the winner of the Champions League

The first legs of the quarter-finals begin this week, starting with Arsenal against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich against Inter Milan this Tuesday.

Opta's "big data" has updated its predictions for the Champions League triumph before the quarter-finals: the big favourite is... Barça! with its young star Yamine Lamal. According to Artificial Intelligence, the Catalan club has a 23% chance of winning the big-eared cup. Following in order, Paris Saint Germain with 19%, Arsenal with 16%, Inter with 14%, Real Madrid with 12%, and finally Bayern Munich with 10%. Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund don't even reach a 4% chance of winning the title.
The Champions League final will take place on 31 May at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
