Since Donald Trump is back in power, many Americans are dreaming of escape.

Thriving outside the United States during Donald Trump’s second term? This is now possible thanks to Villa Vie Residences, a residential cruise company. Since 14 November 2024, the company seems to be targeting all Americans frightened by the new presidency. New packages have indeed been launched: "Escape from Reality" (one year), "Mid-term Selection" (two years) referring to mid-term, "Everywhere but Home" (3 years) and "Skip Forward"(4 years).

Officially, Villa Vie Residences states it has developed these packages to allow passengers to escape the monotony of urban life, politics, and the hell of traffic jams, as highlighted by the media outlet Demotivateur. The American president’s name was never mentioned in the company’s statement, although the names of the new packages are quite explicit.

A 4-year journey…

...and the whole world to discover. The cruise connects 400 destinations in 140 different countries. Last September, the ship embarked on its very first tour, starting from Belfast (Ireland).

Escaping Donald Trump's presidency is not free since the travel price, 4 years in a single room, all-inclusive, amounts to 243,000 euros. Want to book a double room? Count on nearly 300,000 euros for such an escape plan!
