'Breaking Bad in Italy': 22-year-old student unmasked

During a raid on a drug lab in the Italian city of Novara, approximately halfway between Milan and Turin, Italian investigators arrested a 22-year-old student last week.

He was found to be running a professional crystal meth lab. Furthermore, it is described as “one of the largest laboratories for the production of methamphetamine” ever discovered in Italy.

Italian media describe the suspect, a 22-year-old student, as a fan of the Netflix series 'Breaking Bad'.

The young man was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug production, as confirmed by the police in a statement. The young Italian student faces a prison sentence of six to twenty years.
