A drink that's not well-known but packed with benefits!

While winter bids farewell to cinnamon lattes and indulgent hot chocolates, spring brings its own light touch with lemonades, infusions, and vibrant fruit juices. Less sweet, these drinks are full of benefits. One of them will help ease your stress and make falling asleep easier thanks to its mildly sedative properties.

But what is this exceptional beverage?

It's lavender infusion! To make the most of the relaxing properties of this famous purple plant, it's advised to pour about 2g of dried flowers per cup of hot water (or 10g per litre), and then let them infuse for 10 minutes, according to the site Linternaute. To maximise the effect, you may drink a cup of the infusion about 30 minutes before heading to bed. This evening routine will help you achieve a deeper, less restless sleep.

As a reminder, lavender infusion shouldn't replace medication. Therefore, be careful not to overindulge, and if you have specific or severe sleep problems, consult a specialist. Three cups of infusion a day is the limit, beyond which you risk developing digestive issues or suffering from excessive drowsiness.
