Donald Trump has officially announced the implementation of global reciprocal tariffs, setting a minimum rate of 10% for each country.

Speaking to a crowd, the U.S. president presented a chart listing the affected countries along with their respective tariff rates. He specifically targeted the European Union and China, accusing them of "ripping off" the United States, which he says justifies the high tariffs imposed.

"They rip us off. It's so sad to see. It's so pathetic," Trump said, adding that China has been taking advantage of the U.S. for decades.

During his speech, Trump also praised the transformation of the U.S. since his return to the White House earlier this year.

"There will never have been a transformation of a country like the transformation that's already happening in the United States of America. It's an incredible thing to watch," he added.
