Before boarding Air Force One for The Hague (Netherlands) for a NATO summit, Donald Trump stated that Iran and Israel "don’t know what they’re doing". Both are said to have broken the ceasefire.

Donald Trump will be crossing the Atlantic in a bad mood. By his own account, leaving the White House, "I’m not happy with Iran, but I’m really not happy with Israel". He suspects both countries of breaking the ceasefire pledge he had negotiated. He is especially angry at the Israeli state: "I’m calling on Israel to calm down". Indeed, the Israeli Minister of Defence, Israel Katz, said on Tuesday morning, 24 June 2025, that his country would "respond forcefully to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire". However, the Islamic Republic denies any missile launch. In short, by the Oval Office occupant’s own admission, these two countries "don’t know what they’re doing". Nevertheless, to reassure, he posted this message on his social network: "Israel will not attack Iran. All planes will turn back and return home, while giving a friendly greeting to Iran. No one will be hurt, the ceasefire is in place! Thanks for your attention!"
