Donald Trump’s approval rating among millennials has dropped significantly, according to a recent YouGov/Economist poll conducted between June 6 and 9 with 1,533 adult participants.

The survey found that 53% of respondents were dissatisfied with Trump’s presidency, while only 43% expressed satisfaction.

Millennials—those born between 1981 and 1996—now make up the largest voting bloc in the United States, making their disapproval a serious concern for the Trump campaign.

The decline in support comes amid rising tensions, after National Guard troops were deployed to Los Angeles following attacks on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during deportation operations.

Poll data shows that millennials are particularly critical of the president’s handling of the economy and immigration—two central pillars of his reelection platform.

Despite Trump’s efforts to bolster the domestic economy through international tariffs, many in this generation believe more needs to be done.
