Throughout his election campaign, Donald Trump continuously attacked the mental health of his political opponent, Joe Biden, even nicknaming him "Sleepy Joe". Today it's indeed his own state that's in the spotlight.

Donald Trump, aged 78, is the oldest president to be inaugurated in the United States. Very soon, he will be examined by his doctor for an annual check-up, the White House announced on Saturday 1st of March. “President Donald Trump will undergo his routine annual medical check-up next month at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center,” on the outskirts of Washington, stated his physician, Dr Sean Barbabella, in a statement. He added: “The date of his medical examination will be made public in the coming weeks.”

No alcohol but fast-food

Even though he doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, the American president doesn't hide his liking for fast-food and sodas. In January 2024, he also claimed to have passed a cognitive test and to have succeeded "with flying colours".

Since November 2023, and following his physician's note stating that he was in "excellent health" despite his weight loss, the occupant of the White House hasn't released any health report.
