A piece of banana bread ? Follow the instructions...

Due to the slow carbohydrates it contains, banana bread is the perfect remedy for a small craving. Snacks full of fast sugars can give us a temporary "boost", but quickly, the effects wear off. These spikes lead to more cravings. Therefore, it's better to choose foods with slow sugars, such as our famous banana cake, perfect for athletes before and after a workout.

Ingredients:
-100g oat flour (other types of flour like almond flour, buckwheat, etc., can also be used);
-1 teaspoon baking powder;
-3 ripe bananas;
-3 eggs;
-1 apple cut into pieces (nuts, almonds, coconut powder, dark chocolate chips, etc., are all possible options);
-cinnamon, raw cocoa powder, etc., according to your taste;
-a pinch of salt.

Method:
-mash the bananas and add the flour, eggs and cinnamon;
-add the apple pieces and/or nuts;
-grease your cake mould or use a silicone mould;
-bake your banana bread for 45 minutes at 175°C.

Tip:
You can easily freeze your cake in portions. Take it out of the freezer in the morning, and you'll have a perfect snack for the day! Also delicious for breakfast with yoghurt and fresh fruits, or as a dessert.

Enjoy your meal!
