Iran threatens to strike American, French and British military bases

Iran has issued a stark warning that American, French, and British military bases in the region will be targeted if any of these nations attempt to intercept Iranian missiles or drones launched in retaliation.

The warning comes after Israel struck Iran with a barrage of 100 missiles targeting the city of Tel Aviv. In response, Tehran has vowed further action and threatened to “open the gates of Hell” if Western powers intervene on Israel’s behalf.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Washington would stand by Israel and assist in defending against any Iranian aggression. French President Emmanuel Macron echoed that support, while U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that British forces had not provided military assistance and urged all parties to de-escalate the conflict.

With these threats, Tehran aims to deter Western nations from backing Israel militarily as tensions in the Middle East soar.

Iran reported that several of its nuclear facilities were damaged in the Israeli strikes, while multiple civilian buildings in Tel Aviv were also hit.

Iran’s envoy to the UN Security Council, Amir Saeid Iravani, said on Friday that 78 people were killed in the attacks and more than 320 were wounded — most of them civilians.
