Iran will continue enriching uranium “with or without an agreement” from Western nations, as Tehran and Washington remain locked in negotiations over a renewed nuclear deal.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s top diplomat, made the announcement on social media, just days after U.S. President Donald Trump urged Iran to quickly find a solution.

If the United States truly wants Iran to be without nuclear weapons, a deal is within reach. We are ready to engage in serious dialogue to reach a solution that guarantees this outcome for the long term,Araghchi wrote on X.

His comments come amid renewed pressure from U.S. diplomats, who have called on Iran to completely abandon its nuclear program—a condition Tehran continues to reject, insisting its nuclear efforts are purely for civilian purposes.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently accused the U.S. president of lying about Iran’s role in Middle Eastern instability.

During a recent tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, Trump claimed that Tehran was not interested in peace and called on the Islamic Republic to change its course.
