Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, 29 April. It was an opportunity to revisit the place of their first meeting.

On 29 April 2011, the Prince and Princess of Wales said "I do" in front of millions of television viewers. A historic date, not only for the Crown. The couple wanted to mark the occasion by making an official visit to the Isle of Mull in Scotland... A symbolic place, full of memories, since it was in Scotland that Kate and William met in 2001 while they were students at St Andrews University.

A dream setting

To celebrate their anniversary, the royal couple decided to enjoy a touch of serenity and biodiversity. Indeed, Kate and William visited the Aros Hall community centre, an artisan market, and then a local farm specialising in sustainable production. They continued with other visits focused on biodiversity, the Belgian media RTBF reports. And, between discoveries, the couple found a moment of calm to admire the landscape. On their Instagram account, they are seen standing side by side, facing misty mountains. "What a pleasure to be back on the Isle of Mull. Thank you all for your warm welcome," the caption read.
