According to The Guardian, this statement was made by the White House Director of Communications, Stephen Cheung. Meanwhile, the President's Press Secretary, Serhiy Nikiforov, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with US President Donald Trump in Rome on Saturday for 15 minutes.

Following the meeting, the Ukrainian President stated on X: "We discussed a lot, and I hope for results on all the points addressed."

This is the first in-person meeting between Zelensky and Trump since their confrontation in the Oval Office.
