North Korea intensifies its support to Russia

North Korea sent over 3000 additional soldiers to Russia in the first two months of the year, as reinforcements to support the invasion of Ukraine.

It's also continuing its military operations in the border areas, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Thursday. The report notes that more than 11,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed in Russia, with 4000 being killed.

North Korea has provided Moscow with weapons and ammunition, including more than 220 pieces of artillery such as short-range ballistic missiles, 170mm self-propelled guns, and 240mm multiple rocket launchers.

Elsewhere in the country, at the beginning of March, work resumed on the front line, where hundreds of people were deployed to reinforce fences and other structures in areas close to the military demarcation line between the two Koreas.
