Patient fatally stabs paramedic (29) in ambulance

Paramedic Graham hurried to the highway in Kansas City, USA, on Sunday with a colleague after receiving a call about a woman walking disoriented along the highway.

However, the woman became extremely aggressive and stabbed paramedic Graham in the heart with a knife in his own ambulance. The 29-year-old paramedic did not survive the attack.

The 39-year-old Shanetta Bossell attacked the paramedic whilst they were on the way to the hospital.

The woman is now facing a range of charges, including premeditated murder, armed criminal action, assault, and resisting arrest. She is being held on $1 million bail.

The loss of Graham deeply affected the Kansas City fire department, where he had served since 2022. "At just 29, Graham already embodied the best trait of Kansas City: selfless service to others. That he was taken from us while dedicated to saving lives makes this loss even more painful," said Mayor Quinton Lucas in a statement to Daily Mail.
