Poland warns of the risk of Russian aggression

The Polish Foreign Minister has warned against the possibility of Russian aggression by the end of the decade. He emphasised the importance of international support for Ukraine.

The Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that Russia is currently incapable of defeating Ukraine without external assistance. However, if Ukraine and its resources are captured, Russia will gain a significant advantage in the balance of power.

Mr Sikorski warned against a potential larger-scale Russian aggression by the end of the decade. According to him, if Russia absorbs Ukraine's industry, human resources, and military, this event will significantly alter the balance of power in the region.

The minister emphasised the importance of international support for Ukraine, adding that Ukraine isn't a passive victim of aggression but is actively fighting for its freedom with the support of its allies, including the European Union and Poland.
