On Russian state television, President Putin stated that Russia has the means and the power to bring a "logical conclusion" to the conflict with Ukraine.
In a documentary about his 25 years as leader of Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin also spoke about the biggest conflict between Russia and the West since the Cold War.
Putin prefers to avoid nuclear escalation: "They wanted to provoke us so that we made mistakes. There has been no need to use nuclear weapons and I hope they will not be required."
Regarding the further course of the conflict, the Russian leader remains optimistic: "We have enough strength and means to bring what was started in 2022 to a logical conclusion with the outcome Russia requires."
