On March 18, the Russian president ordered a halt, for a period of 30 days, to all strikes on energy sites located in Ukraine. This order has just expired.
This is what the Kremlin, represented by Dmitri Peskov (spokesperson for the Russian presidency), announced on Friday. “The month (of moratorium) has indeed expired. For the moment, there have been no other instructions from the supreme commander-in-chief, President Putin.” During his daily briefing, Peskov, in response to a question from AFP, confirmed the end of this fragile "truce" which Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of violating.
