Russia has launched a large-scale manhunt for Artem Timofeev, a 37-year-old former Ukrainian DJ, and his wife Ekaterina Katya Timofeeva, a writer of erotic novels. The couple are believed to be involved in what is being called the Russian Pearl Harbour – the surprise Ukrainian attack known as 'Operation Spiderweb'.

This attack on Russian air force bases saw dozens of nuclear bombers and other aircraft destroyed or damaged. Explosives were concealed in drones hidden in lorries, which drove onto Russian military grounds. And this is where the ex-DJ comes in. According to Russian media, Artem Timofeev is reportedly the owner of the haulage company that supplied the vehicles. Four lorries were registered in his name, one of which was used to launch the drones. His wife Ekaterina, also known as the author of the book "I Became Bad While You Loved Me", is suspected of having helped him. She has been offline for two weeks and has deleted her social media accounts.
