According to Ukrainian Intelligence, Russia is forced to increase payments to volunteers due to a severe shortage of new recruits

According to Ukrainian Intelligence, the Kremlin is attempting to make up for human losses on the front lines with money.

Russian authorities continue to increase financial incentives to recruit contract soldiers for the war against Ukraine.

In several regions, payments for signing the first contract have risen to more than 2 million roubles, approximately 22,000 euros, and in the Samara region, this sum has reached nearly 4 million roubles.

The primary target audience for the "volunteers" consists of people in financial difficulties and radicalised youth who are easily influenced by propaganda.

Despite substantial financial bonuses, the Kremlin is increasingly struggling to replenish its military units.

The Ukrainian military intelligence notes that the regular increase in payments indicates a severe shortage of volunteers.
