The Ukrainian armed forces have estimated the number of combat casualties suffered by the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion, launched in February 2022, to be over 925,000.

The Ukrainian army's general staff indicated in a statement published on its Facebook account that Russian troops had suffered approximately 925,020 losses, including 1,350 in the past day, with the fighting concentrated in the east of the country and in the Russian region of Kursk, which has been the scene of a Ukrainian incursion since August 2024.

Russian troops have lost 10,567 tanks, 21,997 armoured vehicles, 25,817 artillery systems, 370 planes, 335 helicopters, 31,874 drones, 28 ships, one submarine, and other military equipment.

Moscow hasn't provided any loss figures for several months.
