On his Truth Social platform, the American president proclaims loudly: "There is no inflation!"

At the start of the week, Donald Trump thus called for a cut in the Federal Reserve (Fed) rates. He writes with conviction: "Oil prices are down, interest rates are down (the Fed, which acts slowly, should lower its rates!), food prices are down, THERE IS NO INFLATION, and the United States, long mistreated, receives billions of dollars per week from countries that abuse their tariffs, which are already in place."

Beijing particularly targeted

The White House occupant takes the opportunity to point the finger at China, which he accuses of mistreating the United States. Speaking to journalists present on board the presidential plane returning him to Washington from Florida, he said: "We have been very badly treated by other countries, because we had stupid leadership that allowed it."

On Wednesday, Donald Trump increased US tariffs on Chinese products, raising them to...145%.
