US President Donald Trump has responded to Russia's massive attacks on Ukraine. He voiced his displeasure with the Kremlin leader.

"I don't know what has happened to Putin. I've known him for a long time. I've always got on well with him. But he's launching rockets at cities and killing people, and I don't like it. I don't like what Putin is doing. Not at all. He's killing people. And something has happened to this guy, and I don't like it," declared the American president.

Subsequently, officials from various countries began to share their reactions, but the United States remained silent. It was only towards the end of the evening that Trump's special representative to Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, responded.

"We are in Kyiv. The indiscriminate killing of women and children at night in their homes is a flagrant violation of the 1977 Geneva peace protocols, designed to protect the innocent. These attacks are disgraceful. Stop the massacre. Ceasefire now," Mr. Kellogg wrote, attaching a photo of the capital ablaze at night.
