Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has predicted that Vladimir Putin’s time is running out and that he will “die soon.”

Speaking to journalists at a press conference, Zelenskyy said that the Russian leader’s death would bring an end to the war, which has been ongoing for more than three years.

"He will die soon, and that's a fact, and it will come to an end," he said.

His remarks came just before his trip to Paris, where he attended a meeting with members of the “coalition of the Willing.”

Co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the initiative aims to strengthen support for Ukraine while also working toward a long-term peace solution.

During Thursday’s meeting, participating nations agreed to maintain economic sanctions against Moscow, despite repeated demands from the Russian leader for their removal.
