The Cyber Corps of Ukrainian Military Intelligence carried out a cyber attack against the Russian group Filanco, presented as one of the main providers of Internet access and hosting services serving Russian security structures and more than 20,000 customers.

Reports indicate that the target was the Moscow-based Filanco group of companies, which provides internet and hosting services to a wide range of clients, including Russian telecom operators and state security agencies, making it a critical link in the digital infrastructure supporting Russian armed forces and law enforcement.

According to figures provided by intelligence sources to Interfax-Ukraine and Ukrinform, the attack reportedly disabled 600 virtual machines and 24 hypervisors, destroyed approximately 800 terabytes of data, and damaged 11 physical servers, as well as 74 remote monitoring devices in addition to five office servers.

In addition, some 3,100 switching devices were reportedly disabled, including 37 service routers and core and border routers, suggesting a significant impact on connectivity and traffic management.

This operation is part of a series of offensive actions claimed or attributed to the Ukrainian Cyber Corps of Intelligence against Russian infrastructure linked to the security apparatus, communications or the military-industrial complex, a trend already documented by several incidents since 2024-2025 in the Russian-Ukrainian cyberwar.
