Woman trades foster child for monkey

American Brenda Deutsch was arrested last weekend for allegedly trading one of her foster children for a monkey to expand her exotic animal collection, according to American news channel KSDK.

The woman now faces three criminal charges: neglect, child abuse, and endangering a child. "A witness who came forward with information about systematic abuse in the home said there was also a request to take a child to Texas and bring the monkey back in exchange,", said Mike Wood, the prosecutor of Lincoln County. The police are still further investigating whether this witness statement is indeed true.

Over the years, the woman had no less than two hundred foster children. There are allegations of structural abuse and neglect. She is due in court later this week.
